Storm Panels are currently the simplest and most affordable hurricane protection in the market. Many customers prefer them because, unlike Roll Ups and Accordions, they barely affect the architectural view of their homes. Besides, with the development of new techniques, it is now easier and faster to put them up before a storm.
Another advantage of choosing this product is that consumers often have the liberty to decide which way they want their panels installed. For your convenience, we describe below the 2 techniques that are often used:

Direct Mount: Panels are directly installed on the wall with the help of led expansions and steel bolts. When the storm approaches, the bolts are loosened with a screw driver or power drill and the panels are hung on them. Then the bolts have to be tightened to secure the panels.
Advantage: When the panels are off, the bolts are barely visible and the view of your house won't be affected.
Disadvantage: It takes longer to put the panels on.

Tracks: A header and a studded angle are permanently installed at the top and bottom of the window respectively. When the storm is near, the panels are slipped into the header and secured with wing nuts on the angle.
Advantage: Panels are fast and easy to put on.
Disadvantage: Headers and Sills are visible and affect the view of your house or business.
Storm corrugated Panels are made of Galvanized Steel, Aluminum, or Polycarbonate (transparent or clear). We offer all three models but prices vary being Polycarbonate the most recent and expensive material.
